Very good line up of teams.
Who were the semi games?
Who won it all?
Rebs dad here. Just a showcase, everyone played six.
LA Kings went 5-1, with a loss to Caesars and an OT win over Blue Jackets and win over Mission. Kings looked like best team to us.
Caesars went 5-1, with a loss to Mission and an OT win over Blue Jackets. We watched a lot of that one after our last one and it was a great game.
Mission went 3-2-1, with a win over Little Caesars and a loss to LA and Terriers. They're huge
Blue Jackets were 2-2-2, with a win over Terriers and OT losses to Caesars and Kings. Surprised how good they were.
Terriers were 3-3, wins over Mission and Oakland, losses to Caesars LA and Blue Jackets. Big kid on their team is superb.
Oakland did well too, beat Blue Jackets and nearly beat Mission. Didn't look "worse" and was great game w Rebels in OT.
Rebels lost 4 of 5 but competitive. Beat Oakland in OT, tight games with others. Only Jackets and Caesars won by more than 2 I think against them.
Other team was some all star east coast thrown together team that hit everyone. They were good too. Had some TYN kids and Mid Fairfield goalie.
All of them but the east coasters had their "new" teams so was strong hockey. Lots of good physical games. Rebels hung in there. Not gonna be VK or Jrc but good
Heard the Rebs scored 6 goals all tournament. Hard to win with no scoring.
Highest points on the team was GL who came from JRC
Scored a few more then that. GL played well
18 goals against
8 goals for
11 of those goals allowed were in two games against CBJ and Little Caesars, scored 3. So the other four games it was 5-7 goal differential against really strong teams. Absolutely no shame in that, three of those teams were Mission Terriers and Oakland. Outside of Jrc and VK, every single one of those teams beats every team in the G.
Rebels showed well
Great for Rebels.
Let’s carry on to other matters.
Who’s playing this weekend or next?
Exciting to see the makeup of all the teams.
Even though the gap is closing, one > three should be the usual susspects, but now four > eleven should definitely bee closer than previous years.

1 vk
2 tm
3 JRC
4 rhc
5 mr
6 nyr
Who will be scoring?
7 dmf
8 tn
9 tt
10 trw
Why is Trw in the exact same place as last yr?
They have a coach with a phone full of nhl/ohl names and probably 14 new players?
Shouldn’t they be higher on that list?
Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 8:47 pmWho is coaching JRC
BC. Btw he was tearing up the G in his days and had good stats in the OHL but didn’t make the show. Just goes to show how extremely challenging it is. So hopefully you all put things in perspective.

JRC will win the league. Too much firepower and top goalie. Additions are ok and if they buy in to BC and DE systems they will be fine.
What’s the system?
Memo to new guys:
Don’t touch the water, it’s only for the kids that go on the ice.
Stay out of the way and let the good players play.
Stay in the middle of the bench.
