Came here to get a feel on Rosie as my kid went out to his birthday skate last Saturday. I heard good things about him so reached out. Didn’t get a good first impression so wanted to do my own research. What’s everyone’s opinions?Guest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 8:38 amGuest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 8:28 amI haven’t seen a rats parent threaten someone’s life, the odd glass banging, maybe. Picking a fight in front of everyone is an absolute embarrassment. And then to even call it out in the locker room in front of your team is even worse. What kind of a role model are you showing as a leader. The kids you cut made better teams. No game blow outs there.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 8:19 amAs a bystander from another club I can admit the GTC coach is bad. Ruining that team.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 8:04 am Here's a little song I wrote, about the Caps game that sunk the boat, Don't worry...be happy.
The Rats came out, they skated fast, Left the Caps team in the past, Don't worry...be happy.
The coach don't know how to run the bench, Plays his kid, leaves them in the trench, Don't worry...be happy.
Parent's shouting from the stands, Coach got into it and through up his hands, Don't worry...be happy.
The Rats are laughing all the way, while the caps just can't seem to play, Don't worry...be happy.
Coach plays the A's shift after shift, the team's morale has gone adrift, Don't worry....be happy.
Maybe its time for someone new, who can guide the Caps and see them through, Don't worry...be happy.
Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Ouuh. Ouuh...Don't worry, be happy now.![]()
However the behaviour I’ve seen on here and at the rink from rats parents is worse than their kids actions on the ice.
I get that you have an ax to bring with the coach but you have moved beyond the coach and are now attacking the players and parents on the team. You, the fat rat parents have become the bullies and the thugs.
Makes sense that no one wanted to coach your kids because they would have to deal with the fat hairy knuckle dragging rat moms.
Coach has done a great job with the rats. Took a bunch of players who couldn’t make the gtc cut and taught them how to play hockey. 90% of that team was taken out of desperation. This year Rosie wont have that problem and all your little stars will be on the move to the next tire fire team (back to the caps maybe).
Rosie watch out they’ll try to beat you’re a$$ next.![]()

You don't need hockey sense to be a fanGuest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 12:58 am Can someone shut that one VR mom up. Zero hockey sense, just obnoxious cheering all game.
Just cheer loud
Re: 2010 GTHL AA West
My kid was there as well. Talked to some of the parents, nothing but good things regarding Rosie. Some folks on here definitely had an axe to grind with him in the fall but I don't see anyone who played on that team complaining about the season or the results. Way above expectations.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 12:35 pmCame here to get a feel on Rosie as my kid went out to his birthday skate last Saturday. I heard good things about him so reached out. I thought it was going to be good but I don’t like how he actually talked about his team, especially the D. My kid is a D so it doesn’t sit well. Blames a lot on the D. We watched a few of the last games and yeah I can understand one D but I didn’t think they were that bad.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 1:19 pmMy kid was there as well. Great coach, only have had good experience with him in the past. Your kid will improve with him.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 1:19 pmMy kid was there as well. My kid was also there. Kid also a D, didn’t actually speak to the coach. Parents were good. Heard a few things that every coach gets complaints of. Apparently Rosie made a joke about not attending his teams year end party to be there so they should feel specialGuest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 1:35 pmI thought it was going to be good but I don’t like how he actually talked about his team, especially the D. As a bystander from another club I can admit the GTC coach is bad. Ruining that team.

Re: 2010 GTHL AA West
Anyone attend a Wolverines, Caps or Panthers skate? Have not heard a thing about those teams.
Have heard:
Lightning has been very quiet and coach may be surprised at roster losses.
Terriers skates are predominantly ST players at this point?
Toros quietly building up stronger roster
