How many are they short?

There are 11 rostered but coach keeps saying he can sign kids until October, so we can potentially be jeopardizing A tryouts , what if it falls through by October then my kids doesn’t play?!
Caps are in the same situation. Last I heard they are offering 6 free rides. Heard from a committed parent taking the offer.
My honest opinion, if you can get yourself on a competitive A team it will be better than losing 34 games straight. And to the suckers on the caps paying full pop and funding some free rides, you guys are losers
No chance in Halleybuck any free rides.
GM will never permit such a thing.
SHE is in full control plus oversees & manages all GTC team budgets. Please let her know if true.

I was offered a discount if we joined the caps. As much as it was tempting we could not risk a gong show of a season.

I was offered a discount if we joined the caps. As much as it was tempting we could not risk a gong show of a season.
Then go pay full price somewhere else.

Who the F cares about the Caps. They were a garbage team last year and the year before and will be next year. Short bench, yelling coaches, hilly billy parents, individualistic players and they always have players on suspension for something.

I don't care who gets free rides or who is a AAA drop down that is going to change their fortunes. Its amatuer hour over there on a regular basis.

You spent a lot of time posting and know a lot about the team for someone who doesn’t care.

Caps need to get their own thread. Feels like a bit of a soap opera. They have no choice but to give out some player discounts. Or else they lose the team. It doest make sense why anyone would stay with the caps but if this free ride BS makes sense now.
It will be an interesting season for them. I heard they only had 11 players but this may have gone up now.
They will fill up with A players after this weeks tryouts.
The caps will be the team everyone will get 2 easy point from this season.
