Which teams kids will improve?
NT will keep getting better. They are the best coached team in the East. As for the others, they will probably pick up some kids to make them better, but coaching needs to improve to compete.
This is all speculative but:
SIR and Aeros will be even worse having lost their top players. It's really a shame
Expect Leaside and Markham to make slight improvements
These two are going in different directions.
TRT losing top two player and will slide from the top to the middle. They were trending that way..
EE lost their best player but added other and should still be at the top. More of a recruiting than developing team.
NT are adding a couple of high-end players-- easily the favourites to repeat next year.
Should be the favourites.
Bruins losing their best players so will slide back substantially unless kids make major improvements.
Knights replaced their worst few players with better skaters so they should be better than they were this year.
Need to play with more cohesion and skill.
WH Staying put for now and should be in the middle again. Weak up front.

SIR Parent here, the players that left were toxic, took way too many penalties and didn't produce, now we just need to replace about 5 players with some average players and we'll be better off then last season. Not hard. Looking forward to a better season.

To be clear, it's a good sign that players from loop were valued at AAA, but it's not 'Good for the Loop' to lose high quality players. We were short enough quality players already. Hopefully the quality of play and players isn't noticeably worse next year.

Teams will have tryouts and most teams have a spot or two open to add if someone great shows up

More AAA players coming down than AA going up to trips so the loop shouldn't get much worse but we're going to have a clear top and very weak bottom again. Too many teams/not enough talent in this loop.. the real issue is that the A loop is weak and players aren't going up which leads to some stagnation in the AA teams. At this age we should be seeing more talent moving from A to AA but it's not happening for some reason

And this is completely the fault of 10 yr olds? Not the adults on the bench who haven't improved the quality of play??

Doesn't matter who's fault it is it's true. The 2014s were also very effected by the pandemic arguably more than 2015 and maybe 2013s. Building block years were void unless you found a way.

Low hockey enrollment compared to years ago.

Haven't heard of a single AAA coming down to AA maybe that's just me.
