Both teams are so far ahead in terms of depth of talent and coaching. Will be hard for anyone to challenge them.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 7:17 amGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 9:54 pm2017s only have one more year of Klevr and so far the new elite NYHL teams have nobody…so for next year, the top 2017s (who are currently in Klevr) will continue to be in Klevr. No one is going back to NYHL at this point and no one is talking about whether the same kids will be top for U11-U16. But for right now and likely next year the top are going to be Klevr. Pretty sure the question was about who the top 2017s are right now and not who they will be in 5 years. I doubt anyone knows that, but if you do based on your extensive experience, please elaborate. Also, you think the kids that are amazing right now aren’t athletic or have no hockey iq? Sure…Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 9:32 pm"Are and will continue to be in klevr" is a dumb comment. You have no clue who will be a top player at 11, 13, 15. You clearly have no older children and are basing this on no facts. There's no historical data to base this on. Klevr promotes AAA training and mentality at a younger age which obviously will result in more skill at young ages. Whether or not you klevr kids can stand the test of time is nowhere near proven. Half the 2015s will be burnt out in 2 years and they're already starting to fade. The skill gap closes. You can skate little Johnny 20 times a day but come u14 AAA (if he can hang on that long), that advantage will diminish and athleticism, IQ take over. Enjoy your little feeling that your kid is so amazing at 7-8. You all are a joke.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 8:04 amTop 2017s are and will continue to be in Klevr. If NYHL actually wants to build, they need to start at U7 or they somehow need to punish players and coaches for being involved in Klevr right before GTHL - but they won’t do that either.
As a parent with older kids playing real AAA G hockey, I'll give you some advice, stay humble and don't be ignorant. Karma catches up.
I know at least 2-3 18’17 going back local from a tier 1, due to travel, larger role on a tier 1 / MD team, cost, Klevr is great but also about choice.
For pro Klevr, ask yourselves how many squads are true AAA feeder… I would say distro going back to AA or A will mirror that on a percent basis of the G sanctioned and MD programs

Re: 2017 AAA
With the Klevr season now officially over, who is shaping up well for the 2017s next season?
Assuming TR and KYK are still top of class? Any teams moving up or down the rankings?

Some big expectations coming from the 2017 Niagara Nationals in their first year in the league.
Re: 2017 AAA
I've heard YK losing two top scorers, one going up and one going to TR so the gap between TR and the rest is only going to grow unfortunately.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:13 pm With the Klevr season now officially over, who is shaping up well for the 2017s next season?

Any of the other tier 1 teams getting materially better?
Re: 2017 AAA
TR also losing a player who is going up so TR might just stay the same. Realistically any other team that wants to compete would need a total overhaul. Get rid of all mediocre players including the goalie. TR has 7-8 elite players, the best goalie, and a great coach. It’s hard to compete with that.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:21 amI've heard YK losing two top scorers, one going up and one going to TR so the gap between TR and the rest is only going to grow unfortunately.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:13 pm With the Klevr season now officially over, who is shaping up well for the 2017s next season?

TR losing RB and bringing one of Kings top scorers , #1 goalie and a good D from NS grabo.
Kings losing 2 top Fs and #1 goalie and unknown replacements
I think the gap from kings to the field will close and there will be some closer scorers if not losses due to subtractions
