New u18 coach loser who was handpicked by last u18 loser is keeping things conspicuously quiet.
Both had such bad reputations that no eligible emc kids Will return to emc. Derek mcfat was embarrassingly abusive to the hp players last year - every single player hates his guts - even the undeserving kid he gave the c to .
This is well known - why would the board select such an abusive , hated and untalented coach for these boys?

The funny thing about EMC is they don’t care when players dont return, they assume they’re the problem. The thing to observe is the 2009 group is especially toxic and seem to have an issue with everyone who touches the team.

Look like the U18 LJK has taken them.

Here is the U18 arc most players live

They finish U18
Sign with a bottom end Jr B team like Komoka or St Thomas and play a few years
Figure they are either packing it in or go play Jr C to get an extra year with some buddies
After which they either get a job or finish school and get a job
Sign up for beer league

The players who were moving higher than that have left and has been written many times before ....enjoy the remaining time it goes quickly

Why pay derek mcfat 25000 to prep a bunch of wannabes for jrc? Sounds like it should be a strictly volunteer position. Hes certainly not worth it. His hp team last year was an absolute embarrassment. And the kids absolutely hated him.

When parents speak out about the coaches bullying kids they are told they’re the problem. Elgin needs to look at the coaches they put in place, and solicit feedback from respected families in the community. The current coaches are rough around the edges and care more about their ego than they do about developing players. He’s had two years to make Elgin better but has not, he either has no power or doesn’t care about the kids

Williams is incredibly stupid and dirty. The u18 problem is a perfect example. He is buddies with bd and dm and worked out deal with them based on money. Neither coach has any business in minor hockey.

You know there is open borders now...right....so how much longer are you going to yell at the clouds.

However if you are that concerned I am sure you will go to the AGM and join the board or perhaps run for the mentor position.

If this is so bad why hasn’t every parent got together and demand changes or take o th er actions media Hockey Canada or legal. Unfortunately everyone is more worried about their kids being pegged problem.

The coaches will come after your kids as retaliation to any complaints.
The biggest agenda our orgs need to pursue is to make sure the low lives that are capable of attacking innocent children never get in in the first place. This is hard to do- anonymous discussion boards might actually be the best way to get warnings out without jeopardizing the kids safety - then boards can investigate (unless they are dirty too - like emc)
As said bd and dm are perfect examples of whats wrong with minor hockey.
Coaches like this sell spots and burn kids for their own agenda or for the right price.
