Still don't understand the vitriol against the NCDC when all anyone is saying it is a terrific option for players since it is free! It is also a younger league. As for D1 commits, let us be honest, if your heart is set on a D1 commit, the NCDC or CCHL is still a long shot.

Posting out that the NCDC advertises players as having EARNED their D1 schollie while playing there, and due to being part of the NCDC is wrong. No emotions, just stating the facts.

The fact that the NCDC "tries" to sell this false information, is revealing as to their truthfulness and integrity.

Do you disagree with any of these facts. If you do, prove your point. I pulled up several players and their playing histories to prove mine.

They all played in the NCDC as part of their journey to D1 NOT the CCHl. And that was just one team. Stick your head in the sand but, the hockey world is evolving down south and unless the dinosaur leagues modernize (get real coaches and not owners) and offer kids multi-levels it is going to be a rough go

We already have ALL the levels here, and more. We have ALL of this in a LOCAL area, aka less than 2hrs travel all directions. In that area we have 2 Major Junior teams, a Jr. A league, Jr. B league, Jr C league and U18AAA. There is also a big, deep minor hockey association feeding in to these league above! And it's all been here for decades!!!

The NAHL and USHL are good, the rest, no chance, lower caliber.

Marketing and untruths are their only means of trying to be relevant.

The Hitman post of committed players is ALL FALSE.

Wow. I think you need to come out of your bomb shelter. The hockey world has past you by. The development model south of the border is churning out depth of talent. The 2 hour drive region model is imploding. More teams folding with each week. Scouts can watch on hockey TV and can see any game they want. Distance is irrelevant now.

No Jr A teams folded.

2 Jr. B forced to take a year off.

The area represents a huge concentration of hockey talent and resources. Amazing short distances for elite level hockey.

NCDC is fake hockey, players go there who can't make it elsewhere. THe NAHL, different story.

NCDC, low caliber, low expectations, high travel, big chances of getting pushed down to their lower level hockey. The caliber drops even faster as you go.

The list of players given earlier proves the false information. Review each one and try to show me I'm wrong.

I know kids who have gone to ncdc. Complaint is being cut and dropped to premier but they knew when they were tendered it only meant invite to main camp. Nothing close to the complaints I have heard about treatment by some cchl teams including not honoring signed junior a contracts, not releasing players without playing games about release fee or verbal abuse by hot headed ego maniac owners etc...

What a joke, you want to Not Allowed on a CCHL team that cuts you, but have nothing bad to say about the NCDC. They will bring you down, promise you a spot on the NCDC team, you may change schools, get a billet family, change your life around or put it on hold for this, bit if they drop you to an even lower level of hockey at the last minute. You're ok with it!?!?!?! Stop bending over for this crap league sweetheart. At least in the CCHL, you're at home!!

Go for it champ, go play NCDC, and tell us all the glory and opportunities it brought you. I mean the NCDC can surely use some positive REAL press these days as it's only negative. Tell us you LIVED experience we would live to hear it!!
