Guest wrote: Tue Jun 18, 2024 1:02 pm Definitely JRC is once again by far the top team. Should easily win the league and playoffs.

Another dominant year.
OR is the top team. Good luck
OR is fading. Most of the players peaked 1.5 years ago when they had the coached advantage of early IQ trained into them. Most other kids have caught up in the IQ department now and athletic ability has become a more significant factor, removing this advantage from OR. OR should be a top 15 team next year but no longer elite. POS has traded half the team away, admitting his development skills are ineffective. POS last year with this age group. KABOOM. Book it.
JRC picked up a few studs.
GS - is not what he was 2 years ago
RH - has no hockey IQ just some fancy stick handling and doesn’t pass

Studs I think not
Studs or duds?
Stuuuuuuds

OR will be just fine. Added some much needed size up front and on the back end. I would disagree and say their best hockey is ahead of them as few, if any, have physically matured at this point aside from the 2 new additions - the water is too clean in Oakville, no early maturers...lol I would think MyHockey will look something like top 3 G teams in some order (VK,JRC,TM), Quinte, OR, Elgin in the next group, next 2 G teams in with COW, Hamilton, Ottawa Myers, UCC, EOW. I'm sure some team(s) will surprise and Sudbury will be a very good team if everyone stays.
JRC picked up a few studs.
Who?
From NYR.
LOL Stud player and NYR don’t go together at all

The Goalie maybe. But that’s it
Maybe not

No early maturers and very few with the necessary physical potential considering parent statures.
Oakvilles spring outcomes are at odds with this opinion.

Wait till the kids quit in OR because they are tired of being belittled and ridiculed by a grown man.

Parent size can certainly be an indicator but lots of exceptions when you look at the current kids that have clearly physically matured early walking out of the rink already taller than dear old dad at 13 years old. The parent group may not be the Raptors' front court but not like they're a bunch of Smurfs either.... :). I wouldn't place too much emphasis on summer hockey results.

Valid point. Two midgets could make a giant… but if we’re banking on statistical anomalies and miracles, then the Cambridge Hawks are in the running for OHF champs next year too.
