Share your hockey db link.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 4:12 pmValid point. Two midgets could make a giant… but if we’re banking on statistical anomalies and miracles, then the Cambridge Hawks are in the running for OHF champs next year too.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 3:29 pm Parent size can certainly be an indicator but lots of exceptions when you look at the current kids that have clearly physically matured early walking out of the rink already taller than dear old dad at 13 years old. The parent group may not be the Raptors' front court but not like they're a bunch of Smurfs either..... I wouldn't place too much emphasis on summer hockey results.
That’s what I thought.

A new way for your player to connect with coaches. Player Intro
Hi Parents & Players,
We are excited to share a new way for players and coaches to connect.
Player Intro https://playerintro.com/ is a marketplace where our experts (Coaches, scouts, general managers, etc...) will have bookings available for parents and players to connect via a 1-1 virtual call. These are designed to be player-initiated, developing communicational skills that players will need as they progress in their careers.
Currently, we have every Tier 1 & Tier 2 (U.S.) & Junior A (Canada) Junior hockey league coaches available on our website list below:
- USHL (United States Hockey League)
- NAHL (North American Hockey League)
- BCHL (British Colombia Hockey League)
- AJHL (Alberta Junior Hockey League)
- NCDC (National Collegiate Development Conference)
- SJHL (Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League)
- OJHL (Ontario Junior Hockey League)
- CCHL (Central Canada Hockey League)
We also have some major junior (semi-pro) options available in the following leagues:
- WHL
- QMJHL
- OHL
- FPHL
These leagues comprise of the majority (90%) of athletes that commit to universities at the NCAA D1 & NCAA D3. To keep the quality of these meetings high for you all we have provided a few additional things on the Player Intro platform:
- The "Prepare as a Player Section" has questions you may ask and tips for how you should prepare as a player.
- Coaches have short "biographies, " achievement sections, and any other information you need in their profiles.
- Profile customizations that coaches and other experts will see when they are booked.
- Guidance and explanations on how the platform works and where to find your meeting links.
If you don't see an expert that you want to talk too or you are looking for a specific team we will be added coaches periodically to ensure a expansive selection. Because we are new, we are still building the base of coaches, but we have some of the most connected individuals working on adding more every day. These coaches are some of the most influential people in the game of hockey and have long-standing reputations as phenomenal coaches and players.
Back Story:
Player Intro was founded by two former NCAA D1 hockey players who grew up playing southern hockey. During this time it was nearly impossible to get in front of coaches or get looks from anyone unless our parents forked out a down payment to get us to a camp. So, we decided to create Player Intro, no more middleman communicating for you, no more hopeless nights of wondering how to get yourself or your player to the next level, now you have the flexibility to do it from any location any time (of course pay attention to the coaches time zone preferences).
Player Intro will change the landscape of how players and coaches connect, how players and parents can receive information and have their questions answered from the source, and how players build relationships online and offline with the conversational skills that will be gained.
Thank you if you have made it this far and we hope to see you on Player Intro!

Parent size is more than an indicator it accounts for over 85% of full adult stature. The genes that are carried by the parents are passed onto the offspring by both mother and father. This direct link tremendously increases the outcome of height. There are low probability of exceptions that some genes that produce height are passed on from a small parent but this is very low.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2024 10:34 amDoes a hockey db link change the facts?Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 7:24 pmShare your hockey db link.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 4:12 pmValid point. The other 15% is from :
1. Poor nutrition in parents did not reach their max height
2. Not your biological parents (one or both)

Maturation is on a spectrum and a good process would be to look at Tanner's five stages of growth and development. Then you will get an idea of where you athlete is at. At which point you can then spend a few years to study up on what changes occur across the levels and how it impacts athletes.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 5:25 pmNobody quits on POS.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 3:18 pmWait till the kids quit in OR because they are tired of being belittled and ridiculed by a grown man.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 3:07 pmNo early maturers and very few with the necessary physical potential considering parent statures.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 12:02 pm OR will be just fine. Oakvilles spring outcomes are at odds with this opinion.
For example- increased lean muscle mass, increased Vo2 max, tendon elasticity tightening and SSC of the muscles actins, hormone production such as Testosterone and growth hormone, motor skill and coordination changes etc etc etc
Always remember ....early maturation is NOT a skill or talent! It just makes parents and coaches temporality a bit dumb:)

Re: 2011 AAA
Can everyone with a small kid kindly post somewhere else. This is all nonsense and speculation. Your kid could grow next year and still stink. If you’re short your kid will be short 98% of the time. Most kids are the size of their wife’s father. This is as good a tool as any piece of bull.
Re: 2011 AAA
I think you are confusing male baldness with the wife's father....you are a total tool buddy!Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2024 3:56 pm Can everyone with a small kid kindly post somewhere else.
