Yeah, size is nice, but there has to be a balance. Have the AA kids made a major impact? No. People thought the redhead kid would be some kind of saviour - 1 point in 8 regular season games. No folks, you need talent.

The game’s changed, coaches aren’t just looking for big guys anymore, it’s all about speed, skill, and being able to think fast on your feet. I get it, some parents think their kid’s a shoo-in just because they’re tall, but that’s not gonna cut it. There’s plenty of big guys who get laid out every game because they can’t keep up. Size doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have the hands and the wheels to back it up. The future of hockey is about being quick, smart, and skilled, not just being a big brute.

Okay who is the talent that was missed? How do you fix this team?
Im not sure who was missed but I think it’s more a matter of who they kept - #16 for example.

Fixing the team - start with the coach. Kids don’t like him. Sure they may not show it, but I’ve heard a lot of them can’t stand him. Next year whoever gets the team has to go with the best possible players and forget about the politics or how long little Jon Jon has been on the team. That’s the first step.

Who is going to end up with this team next year? I bet they stay with JB

If they go with JB, then the 2011 kids will never have had a non-parent coach, which is absolutely unacceptable.

And judging by their record, why would LJK want him back and why would parents want him back?

#16...LT?
In 8 games these are the forwards:

#16 2 points
#10 2 points
#2 1 point
#3 2 points
#19 2 points

Their top scorer has 6 goals and 3 assists through 8 games. Essentially you have 2 lines out of 3 with very low production. Nothing against those kids, but as a AAA team you need to have better production.

And all those kids should be replaceable at that level of production.

Alright, picture this: toxic hockey parents, the dads yelling at refs like they’re auditioning for The Sopranos. Every call’s a conspiracy, and they’re screaming so loud you’re worried they’ll drop dead from the stress. “What do you mean that’s a two minute minor?!” Seriously, Dad, you’re not the coach.

Then there’s Mom, chirping about how every other kid is holding her child back from the NHL, and plotting a letter to the coach like it’s a legal document. “He didn’t get enough ice time! This is a travesty!” No, Karen, it’s called a team sport.

These are the people you don’t want on your team. They’re the human version of a bad penalty call, unnecessary, unhelpful, and ruining the vibe.

If those stats are true then they need to start recruiting for next season.

Good thing open boarders will be here next year so people can just leave and go to a better coach if they have a real problem with his coaching style. Put your money where your mouth is people
