So nope the math is off.
But if you add 3 and divide it by pi,subtract a blue crayon then and only then will this make sense.

Lowly MI > TR
MI beat the once ranked best team in Ontario. LOL
Will TR miss out on the playoffs (tongue firmly in cheek) and win the crayon.
Top 4 look set (SIR/FH/NT/VRE), with TA looking to be 5th (record worsening).
TR/LF fight for 6th and 7th, WH - 8th.

TA is as good as any of the top 4 listed above...it is a 5 man race based on consistency, LF and TR have shown they are capable but perhaps not as consistent...its getting good

Look at win%. TA is in a tier just below the top 4 and above everyone else. They only have two wins against the other top teams.
TA is close. But saying it's a 5 man race isn't being honest.

Anyone in the top 7 can win any series.

1st place gets a nice 1st round matchup but the rest are a coin flip. TA might not have the record that the top 4 do, but they certainly belong with them.

I’m confused. Are you saying there are 4 contenders, 5 contenders, or 7 contenders? Make up your mind.

TA is def a top team, don’t even look at the standings for the top 5…and of those teams can go on a run and win the league. There will be no easy series aside from 1v8.

TA just beat FH, so I rest my case.

The east champ will be one of NT/SIR/VRE/FH. Sure, Aeros beat FH. Leaside have wins against SIR, FH and VRE. Is Leaside a contender too?

Overall record is what matters. Not one or two wins here or there.

Look at overall Win %. Aeros are closer to Ted Reeve than the top 4.

SIR .800
VRE .761
FH .750
TA .673
TR .620

There's a HUGE difference between winning 75-80% of your games, and 67%. If you don't think that tells you who's got a stronger team, why the hell do we play all these regular season games?

Or look at it another way. The top 4 teams have 4 losses. Aeros have 6. TR and Leaside have 8.

I rest MY case.
