Power tripping on 12 year olds… What a joke
Something is brewing is East Scarborough, is the team lost. Or is the blame on the coach a deflection of D parents that can't face their little future NHLer is bad?
The coach banned a parent from coming to games for the rest of the season because the parent questioned some coaching decisions.
That’s some serious power tripping. Banning a parent from watching his 12 year old because he had the audacity to question you.
Hold on a second here. That doesn’t seem right or fair!
Matt is a paid coach. That's why you pay so much to play on the Bruins.
So you’re telling me that you pay this man to coach your kid but you can’t ask him a question or have a concern. He will suspend you from watching your kid that “you’re” paying him to coach. COME ON!!!
That’s ridiculous. SYB organization should be Not allowed ashamed of himself.
A coach can't ban anyone, only the GTHL can. Give me a break. That seems pretty shady too considering the GM of the SYB organization has a kid on the team! So not only is she biased, she's sitting there letting this d-bag coach get away with murder. What a circus team.
The parent has been great! As far as I know hasn't complained (it would land on deaf ears). He knows the power trip level is not worth fighting. He always seems to be happy and finds a positive. He did nothing wrong and thank you for sticking up for the team.
As yet another Bruin parent in this thread: I agree.

YES I agree.
Thank you for taking one for the team. You said what we are all thinking and didn’t have kahunas to say it cause we knew they wouldn’t do anything but discipline you for saying something!

So thank you from the SYB parents

What did this parent say? And good for them for speaking up whatever it was! Sounds like the team has your back.

Stand up to bullies is what we teach our kids. Looks like he practices what he preaches. FYI SYB hockey isn't everything. Shame on the Coach and Organization for this nonsense.

Question… This coach coaches multiple SYB teams right?
Let me guess- he coaches both of the managers kids & that’s why he can get away with miss games & practices.
