From what I am aware of, this might be the worst team in OMHA. Even COW's roster sounds better.

COW has coaching and a core... it might be some of the strongest coaching in the entire loop. This Markham team will not have coaching and no core. The Waxers performed little to no due diligence on their guy. It's going to be a rough season for anybody who plays for this team.

It's hard to watch these bottom teams. Markham and Richmond Hill.

Waxers overall are just terrible. The way they run their MD and AA and AAA programs have not been properly planned. The org is just fine with the status quo. Not sure if they have ever produced a player that went on beyond AAA since Stamkos. Why Markham has Majors and Waxers is very confusing when there is no demand for it there.

Markham Waxers.

Same people have been running the (s***)show for literally 20 years. SG, JQ, MM/BM... MG in charge of development? Hack. DD their star HC? Hack.

Clinging to the Stamkos days, crying that everyone leaves for the G. They've needed to pull their best players from centers around them over the years, or get the OMHA to force centers like Unionville to outright amalgamate with them just to stay alive.

Notorious for refusing player releases for ENTIRE seasons. Bet they're thrilled about open borders.

If Waxers are thrilled about open borders that’s hilarious. They need to clean up shop there. Nobody wants to go there because the org is so terribly run. I’d be surprised if they can even win any games at AAA next season. The biggest question is why does Markham have two AAA teams. Waxers should be gone since OMHA wants to reduce teams anyways.

Aurora has YSE and is well run and the org is great. Richmond Hill lost their AAA. Waxers is just plain horrible. Ask any parent. AAA is a joke there.

Interesting. Don’t know much about Waxers but very interesting question. Why does Markham have a G and OMHA team when neither are competitive?

They haven't. They beat miss raiders I heard and if you consider them tier 1, then that's the one. They absolutely can't hang with Duffield /Nats or Vaughn however . Good D and goalies, but forwards lacking as their top players all left for the G because of the coach. New coach next year so could be a lot of new players however . The MD loop they are in is very weak; we (Milton) are in it as a AA centre (as are most teams in the loop). They're better than us for sure but again, we are AA and they are AAA next year. East omha will be alot stronger than West from the looks of it but all depends with the open borders

Both established a long time ago and have seniority. Waxers execs had sway in the folding of Richmond Hill's AAA center, which happens to borders Markham. Who do you think benefits?
