I would stay away from ST especially because of the father coach. that smells like a terrible experience as I see the parent coach playing his son the majority of the games regardless of performance. I would look at MB as they may be looking for a goalie…Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 8:33 pmTheir goalie from last season left the team and is now traveling far, likely for a reason.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 7:47 pm Does VR need a goalie anyone know?
Only TW and MB have strong goalies. TE, HVS, and maybe VR are decent, but you can try if you’re confident in your child. The rest would be happy to find a good goalie. Keep in mind that ST’s goalie is the coach’s son, so he’ll stay in net regardless of performance.
That leaves MNS, MT, FT, and WML as your main options. Personally, I don’t like FT as they play very chaotic hockey. WML is a nice team, and they just need a solid goalkeeper, so it could be worth the risk. MT is another option with good coaching, though their results are inconsistent.

i agree about ST. i heard MB has picked all their players for next season. so any skates or tryouts would be a waste of time.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 8:03 pmI would stay away from ST especially because of the father coach. that smells like a terrible experience as I see the parent coach playing his son the majority of the games regardless of performance. ST has alternated goalies all year long so why would it be any different next year keep your weak ass comments to yourselfGuest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 8:08 pmi agree about ST. i heard MB has picked all their players for next season. so any skates or tryouts would be a waste of time.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 8:03 pmI would stay away from ST especially because of the father coach. that smells like a terrible experience as I see the parent coach playing his son the majority of the games regardless of performance. I’m not even a parent on MT and you just recommended someone goes to WM “they’re a nice team” over MT.

DenseGuest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 12:39 pmSo in theory they are inconsistent.. some nights they score.. some nights they don't. Literally the definition of inconsistentGuest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 12:35 pmHow can you say their results are inconsistent? They have only had one game where they've been blown out / given up more than 6 goals.. Every game they play is a one goal game, they just cant score a tonGuest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 8:33 pmTheir goalie from last season left the team and is now traveling far, likely for a reason.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 7:47 pm Does VR need a goalie anyone know?

Oh that’s simple to answer - New coach is one of the goalies dad. Whoever the other goalie is, they won’t even touch the ice. That’s just the reality of a parent coach.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 9:14 pmST has alternated goalies all year long so why would it be any different next year keep your weak ass comments to yourselfGuest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 8:08 pmi agree about ST. i heard MB has picked all their players for next season. so any skates or tryouts would be a waste of time.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 8:03 pmI would stay away from ST especially because of the father coach. that smells like a terrible experience as I see the parent coach playing his son the majority of the games regardless of performance. are the parent on MT that bad? i’ve heard a few stories but is that all the time? are they worse then VR parents?
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
Trust me when I say you haven’t even heard half of the shit the MT parents do. A lot doesn’t get posted on here. Just ask other parents from other teams and you will get the real truth.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 9:53 pm are the parent on MT that bad? i’ve heard a few stories but is that all the time? are they worse then VR parents?

You clearly are trying to stir things up as per usual on this site. No surprises there. Anyone with half a brain can read through the BS and knows this is fake news.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 9:19 pmOh that’s simple to answer - New coach is one of the goalies dad.
