My observation and my opinion. Agree with me or not, really don’t care.
RP made zero adjustments in the series. Each game the spread of goals got larger and play was so heavily lopsided in JrC favour. JT out coached, out smarted and made RP look like a rookie. RP was frustrated and had no answer for JT or JrC.
RP was playing checkers while JT was playing chess..

Wiser words have never been spoken. Might I add that you can’t play chess when you’ve got the pieces to play the game. To the point earlier; it starts with having the right pieces who play the game the RIGHT way and buy into TEAM first…. Not agent and ego. And at the end of the day everyone needs to take ownership and an accountability for what they are bringing to the table; out coached or not……. SHOW UP AND COMPETE!!! EFFORT the only thing that shows up on the ice and most times it takes a second and third effort! Play brave and courageous …. The video doesn’t lie. When you allow people to walk in and crash the net where there’s no F coverage backchecking no D holding the line and stepping up and watching the other F crash the net; generally ends poorly. Marlies had the best goalie in the loop last year he won team MVP last season and cut him on a hunch for someone better. Marlie org deserves better representation ALL around. If people stopped chasing the crest, parents stop influencing and in general corruption ceased and you go back and let kids out compete and earn their spots….. you might serve the history of the org better. Save the super team nonsense for spring hockey. Can’t allow it into the season
Too many D outside of G that are legit studs!! And don’t have a hope because of this….and it’s not just one team. Own it people the league is allowing too much influence and orgs pay the price and ultimately kids loose out on the life lessons the game is supposed to teach. And yes experienced coaching helps.
