RP made zero adjustments in the series. Each game the spread of goals got larger and play was so heavily lopsided in JrC favour. JT out coached, out smarted and made RP look like a rookie. RP was frustrated and had no answer for JT or JrC.

RP was playing checkers while JT was playing chess.. ♟️

I agree, RP had no answer for JrC. Seemed like Marlie players just wanted the season to be done with..
I wish we had our old goalie

Rp player match ups terrible all serious. Jrc 8 dominated the serious and tm had no answer. Despite scoring goals for the serious the contest was no match. Jrc total domination start to finish. 10 goals and 7 goals is horrific and should be a wake up call for tm offseason to address goaltending and defence further. Tm 10 so called stud proved that he can’t handle the load of leading the back end like 2 vk does on. Nightly basis. Hes flashy of course but top D in loop questionable. 17 goals against 2 games marks for to many holes and any stud D should be able to protect that much better.

Let's not forget SM "running" the D side of the bench. Way to get your son and the rest firing in playoff mode. Stellar effort buddy. Time to let go.

17 ga in 2 games isn’t just a d or g problem.
I don’t care what “stud” you have back there.

Wiser words have never been spoken. Might I add that you can’t play chess when you’ve got the pieces to play the game. To the point earlier; it starts with having the right pieces who play the game the RIGHT way and buy into TEAM first…. Not agent and ego. And at the end of the day everyone needs to take ownership and an accountability for what they are bringing to the table; out coached or not……. SHOW UP AND COMPETE!!! EFFORT the only thing that shows up on the ice and most times it takes a second and third effort! Play brave and courageous …. The video doesn’t lie. When you allow people to walk in and crash the net where there’s no F coverage backchecking no D holding the line and stepping up and watching the other F crash the net; generally ends poorly. Marlies had the best goalie in the loop last year he won team MVP last season and cut him on a hunch for someone better. Marlie org deserves better representation ALL around. If people stopped chasing the crest, parents stop influencing and in general corruption ceased and you go back and let kids out compete and earn their spots….. you might serve the history of the org better. Save the super team nonsense for spring hockey. Can’t allow it into the season
Too many D outside of G that are legit studs!! And don’t have a hope because of this….and it’s not just one team. Own it people the league is allowing too much influence and orgs pay the price and ultimately kids loose out on the life lessons the game is supposed to teach. And yes experienced coaching helps.

It’s not about d g or f problem both games were 1 goal difference going into the third. TM didn’t have the depth to go the distance against the deeper teams. From what I hear on here they will be deeper next season. I think TM gave all they had to win a first round that everybody thought they’d lose. Unfortunately for TM that was their championship. Coaches built a full new team in 3 months and finished in the top 4 in playoffs I'd consider that a success. Will see what next season has to bring for all. It will be the one that matters most. Good luck to all.

Until you play in the league your OMHA star has no idea what kind of player he is. He will become mid pack right away. This is the best league in the world and unless you are in it you won’t understand. I’m thinking about bring my guy to the OMHA to become a 150 point player for next year.

Well said. Yes next year will be the first year that means something for these kids.
