Just don't understand how a kid who hasn't played against the best players gets drafted? I know he works hard, but he doesn't play on a stacked team.

For this draft class the rules were broken. It was so weak that they needed more options and this kid was the gem in the rough. VP is also an exception as they win every year. That team could’ve went to AAA and would’ve been competitive.
AA 2009 = Select Tier 3 from generation before Covid.
VP AA 2009 was the one exception.

From what I heard, everyone is very happy and congratulated him. It was a team effort getting him drafted from the coaching staff to his teammates. Their culture is about the name on the front, not on the back.
