Looks like 40000 isnt enough to buy a win.
Tourney half way done and emc has 2 losses and a win. And the only win was barely won against the worst team in the tournament Lol! Looks like coach fat head coaches his team like he coached his son - to be a hockey loser!

Dude you need to either get a hobby or seek professional help. To dislike someone is ok. To cheer for a 20 kids to fail...that is a whole different level of being messed up. Chances are your beef is the fact he did not select your kid. Time to let it go and move on. It's ok ....your kid will turn out to be ok even though he did not play AAA Midget for EMC.

I actually feel bad for the kids. The guy is a con man who is only coaching because he desperately needs the money.
He will embarrass elgin at this tournament unfortunately- no one is blaming the kids.

Many many people “dislike” this guy.
Hes a known liar and predator.
Hes been through all levels of hockey and has learned all the dirty tricks and uses them regularly on children.
He has purposely destroyed many young players opportunities. Absolutely no place for this in minor hockey. If you pick a minor hockey team you have an obligation to develop and play these kids - he only cares about 5 members of his team.
He is not here because he cares about developing kids - he is here for a pay check. How is it a minor hockey coach is paid over 20000$?? No other coaches at any level in sw ontario gets this. Says all you need to know about him.

There's something called "open borders". If you don't like it, go play in London or Sarnia. Simple.

This guy is a perfect example of every thing that is wrong with minor hockey. First off hes only in it for the money.
He Happened to get a strong group of kids in a weak league and is taking credit for getting them to telus lol.
He will be exposed. Riding one line and screaming at 16yos like an abusive husband doesnt work.

Well they will have to close off the budget so I would hope that with the associations financial controls in place will be identify any issues before it is signed off on.

Maybe in the end, if there is a surplus, the team will dispense the money in an agreed upon manner to the families. If not then people will call this out and a reasonable solution will be found.

Unless it is your money I cannot see why it would concern you.

However if you have tangible evidence then you should pass it on to the proper people.

This a large amount of money that is not needed - and a coach with a history of corruption.
