Toronto seems way behind in comparison to other teams.

They don’t take the best current players they take the best players from 2 years ago…. It will all be sorted out after the full G season when they figure out which kids are good now.

I think T. Teams were split up between HHOF and Toronto Invitational...

Everest (Young Nats) lost 7–0
Toronto Bulldogs Erlich (JrC) lost 6–1
Pro Hockey Kosta (Marlies) lost 6–1
Vaughan Knights (VK) lost 6–3

Why is there such a gap in the level of play between the Toronto teams and the others in this tournament?

Best kids aren’t there. Plenty have no interest in these cash grab tourneys.

Look at the rosters. YK has 2 Marlies,RD who plays 2015 JRC, and RJ from Buffalo so unless they are all commuting to Whitby next season I would avoid sweeping conclusions. Its a spring tournament.

Size made difference. YK looks two years older.

Nice try. Toronto 2016 group is not up to par with others.

There are 8 Ontario teams in HHOF, some kids playing in the other tourney, and some kids playing other sports. If you had one or two Ontario teams with all the top kids, they could compete. Spring hockey is a business and Ontario parents are suckers.
