SYB has high aspirations if they believe they’ll be a top-3 team. Yes, skilled players of average size can certainly compete, but you don’t see many 5-foot players in the NHL—and this is a similar comparison.
This coming from a parent whose kid was cut from SYB. Then got cut from the team that they were going to before before they even signed.
Watching tournament hockey this weekend with the hitting being allowed, some kids are going to be in for a rude awakening. I sound say parents are going to in for an awakening. You should of dropped little Johnny to A.

SYB loaded up on D, next year's D is going to make last year's D look like select players. As for forwards a RH F and AAA cuts are going

SYB picked up half of the MM AAA team and kept all their top players. They will be the top G team this year. TRT and LF will be a distant 2nd and 3rd place.

The AAA drop down experiment has never been successful. Well coached top AA team will always beat a low end AAA team, book it SYB will finish 3rd or 4th

GT Caps did the exact same thing with Reps drop downs. Went from a 4th place team in the West to winning it all.

GTC was all about the coach The softer parents don't like him but kids that want to play love him

Spring Tournament NT almost beat MM, lost in overtime....so that shows 2 things.
1. good AA teams can compete with low end AAA Teams
2. NT is the dark horse to win the East. Better than people predict
