2010 AA Panthers- Anyone know if we should trust the panthers? Coach is saying they have until October to lock in more players? Or should we go to A tryouts elsewhere? Thanks a concerned parent
How many are they short?
There are 11 rostered but coach keeps saying he can sign kids until October, so we can potentially be jeopardizing A tryouts , what if it falls through by October then my kids doesn’t play?!
Caps are in the same situation. Last I heard they are offering 6 free rides. Heard from a committed parent taking the offer.
My honest opinion, if you can get yourself on a competitive A team it will be better than losing 34 games straight. And to the suckers on the caps paying full pop and funding some free rides, you guys are losers
No chance in Halleybuck any free rides.
GM will never permit such a thing.
SHE is in full control plus oversees & manages all GTC team budgets. Please let her know if true.
Total Trap!

I’ve heard the same thing from some parents at a skate Saturday. There going to subsidize a few players to get 15 rostered. For a bottom place team it’s desperate.
Good luck to the paying suckers

Last year they gave 5-6 free rides to friends and to fill the roster, The books were so cooked it was an insult to anyone who had basic math skills. I heard that they are giving free rides this season because they couldn’t find the ‘suckers’ they picked up last year.
And if you don’t believe me ask yourself why is GTC the same cost the same as AAA? Then look at the coaches and managers kids, along with at least 3 others and know you paid to put that s&/t on the ice.

Anyone considering the caps should be aware. Do not sign unless you’re 100% stuck and left with no options. Last year they suckered a player in and cut him without a refund. The caps organization is unethical and has not remorse for the kids well being. At least half the teams have 1 spot they can still take on. Don’t get stuck with that BS. Talk to ex-caps to get an honest opinion. It’s been a revolving door every year for the same reasons.
I really don’t want anyone to endure what 40-50 kids have gone through over the last 4 years. All left after the season was over and never looked back.

Thank you everyone for your opinions. This year will be different and looking to put together a great development program. Everyone is open to their opinions and we appreciate feedback. Looking to be a mid pack playoff team.
