AA kids are getting cut from A teams. I know of a few. From VR and TR. Best part is that both or at least one is still looking for players. Guess coaches are being picky even at A?! Lol

Not surprising that AA players are getting cut at A. The draft year is done, and AA is the worst level to play now, as you don’t get any benefit. You’re not in AAA and you’re just taking damage in AA, meanwhile the hockey in A is better then AA and you’re less likely to get hurt. The most important aspect is that you also have more time for school in A, which is crucial now that the 2009 group is going into grade 11.

Not a big difference time commitment wise between a and aa. Both levels have 2 practices and 2 games per week on average, and 3-4 tournaments. Sure you could get away with missing more events in a, but on paper there pretty much the same time commitment.

AA is 2 times a week everywhere. Not every A team is 2 times a week. Parent preference. Could be savings in fees or kids playing multiple sports that decipher that.

Talking out of your ass seriously! I can piss more knowledge of hockey than a 2 hour lecture from your dumbass ! Double age group for AAA others at AA chose to play year up as to U17AA this coming year with no TR in the East entire team went to U18 no VP most dominant team ever probably at AA last 2 seasons gone so where’s the competition there . Plus the G and MHL is the girls style hockey with no hitting OMHA A teams still have hitting . Dumbass STFU

My kid is too good for AA, he’s going to triple but he just doesn’t have a team yet but when he does get one, you better watch out. He’s a stud and I’m going to get him all the team swag and my whole family is getting a jacket. We are going get noticed!

My kid is scared of physical contact during a game. He’s not small but his nature is very timid. Can he be successful in this level?
