style has regressed - no longer an offensive player like before - afraid and it’s obvious it’s painful to watch #bookitGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 6:21 pmShe’s the exceptionGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 6:11 pmKeeping the girl on the Nats in U15 is stupid on all the adults partGuest wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 8:13 am Putting aside the personal nature of the comment above, there are a couple of things that I think are fair to discuss.
There seems to be a significant disconnect between the number of Asian born players that are dominant/very good at the younger ages - particularly pre-puberty ages U13-U15 relative to the number of impactful players in the OHL/OJHL/NCAA etc once the growth curve evens out. Obviously there’s a lot of speculation as to why that is, my kid would look really dominant playing against kids 1-2 years younger too.
In terms of girls playing with boys. I think it’s fine at younger ages for the girls that are clearly ahead of their female peer group. Women/Girl’s hockey has come a long way in the last 5+ years. Once you get to hitting (U14) the girls should cycle back to girl’s hockey as the quality of competition typically has caught up by that point as again the girls are mostly post puberty at that point. Girls playing with boys with hitting is an accident waiting to happen for obvious reasons.

Sensei DDM - you must pay to play #bookit
Re: 2011 AAA
How does a coach keep a female player at u15? More importantly how do other parents allow their kids to play for a coach who allows and female player, and is a parent coach.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 4:01 pmSensei DDM - you must pay to play #bookit

There's a girl with one less goal than the entire Red Wings put together in the Canlan this weekend. Maybe you're not asking the right questions.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 10:40 pmHow does a coach keep a female player at u15? its amazing how kids will tell you what you want to hear! please stop leading the witness sirGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 3:49 pmGuest wrote: ↑Fri May 30, 2025 7:45 amIt’s only May! My kid will be playing his last of 5 tournaments this weekend. He had an early playoff exit and he wanted to get some more games in. Now he will have June and July to play golf, workout and be a kid. Back on the ice in August.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 10:36 pmIt's pretty obvious with some kids now that I've watched over the 2 months that they're playing too much hockey. These are kids especially on the top 3 teams that I know don't play other sports. It's too much hockey and those parents are simply lost. Sadly will continue to regress into U16.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 1:12 pmThe AAA tryout window has been closed for 33 days, and you've already done three spring tournaments? Congratulations, you're an idiot, satisfying your own F.O.M.O at the expense of your son's long term health and development. No meaningful rest after a long season is not making him better, nor is U15 spring hockey getting him one inch closer to being drafted in U16. If he's already good enough to be one of the 300 kids drafted after U16, see previous comment regarding your own F.O.M.O.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 10:05 amWe've already done three spring tournaments, including Nashville, and this one is by far the best value. The cost is $500 USD, and the kids receive a free CCM stick, training gear, hoodie, plus Howies tape and accessories—all included. Exceptional coaches, top-tier facilities, and scouts will be in attendance. If you didn’t get an invite, don’t be sour—just stay curious about what makes this event stand out.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 7:46 am CCM 68 camp is a money grab joke. Who didn’t get invited.
Worry about your own kid.
Too much hockey your an idiot - some kids actually enjoy playing hockey all year round
Sounds like you got to push your kid to play /train
Book it !
