Look I get that many people were mostly oblivious to this guy being what he is. But there are families who have been named...they knew he was a racist, a bully, a conman, and garbage human. None of those things were enough to make them not go back to him all in the chase for their kid to play high level hockey. Now they say "we don't condone this" because it's sexual assault. CRY ME A RIVER. You all enabled him knowingly to continue with his bullshit.It all did not affect you so you were like ok whatever it's just the way he does business. We never saw him act like a racist, a conman, or anything close to a morally bankrupt person. Whenever he was around us, he was upbeat, respectful, and our kid genuinely enjoyed playing on his teams. If we had ever seen the kind of behavior he’s now been charged with, we would’ve walked away and reported him. What’s happening now is serious. This goes well beyond personal grudges—like the ones JH and GS have carried for years. And let’s be honest: both are known for being completely unhinged and habitual liars, so it’s hard to take anything they say at face value.
And while we’re calling things out—most of these so-called “program directors” (TBD, PH, PC, YK) have their own reputations. A bit greasy, a bit shady, and definitely in it for the money. You hear horror stories about all of them, yet people keep marching back year after year. When your kid wants to play spring hockey with their friends, you pick the least-bad option and try to avoid the drama.
No one is condoning the behavior he’s been charged with—he deserves everything that’s coming to him. But shut the f@&k up with this idea that anyone thinks what he did is okay.
