Nuisance on Rebels. AL would have kept kid, but too many issues with parent. Bye-bye.
You don't want to be a toxic parent. Do all your homework before you join a team. If your kid is playing well, what ice time should he get. If not, what are the reductions? Ice time, etc. But figure it out before you join and then shut up. Calling other parents late at night and getting them worked up against the coaches, is pathetic reflection on the parent. Do your homework. Sign if it makes sense. Then shut up and let the coaches coach.
For sure. If you're unhappy, don't go back. Keeping your head is a good lesson for your kid to see. Finish the year and move on.
My kid played 2008 AA and he was not getting much ice time so now we are moving on to AAA.
There are lots of coaches who will gladly take your money and you will love the ice time your kid gets. Team may struggle, but you and junior will have the time of your life, although a little lighter in the wallet.
