A lot of egos. These people grow up in their small towns where they are a bigdeal, and they never leave. Insert AAA hockey… same bigdeals are forced to interact with other “bigdeals” outside of their little circle where they’ve always been the biggest deal, and voila, Elgin.
Check your egos. No one outside your little hick-town cares.

Continuous rotating door on D, the fact that some of their D have held on this long is insane. But that's what happens when ya have a buddy connection. Forwards who are now D, D who are now forwards. New blood, old blood, same ole blood. Rally just a mess.

Forwards, not bad, but more buddy connections there. It's all good as long as you know who shines for dad. The bottom F are probably your best gamers vs the top F.

Goalies are solid.

Coach will blow at least twice this year.

Parents; Toxic, good luck with that, extra crazy in a draft year

Elgin allows people to get away with too much. They need to extinguish the bullshit before it catches fire and the entire team ends up smelling like pooh.

Accurate, I was on a board for a short period of time where by we made decisions based on who people knew or didn't know. What gossip we could talk about on the people we didn't know, and any gossip on people we did know well all was forgiven. Two exact scenarios would have 2 completely different rulings to policy based on who was asking. It's pathetic. I was a lone wolf around that board room table, my board life was short because I didn't tow the line.

Sounds made up. Did you get kicked off?
