I've tried to inquire about this and OMHA director has said it is only valid if all other options are exhausted and is used in a certain order. First a 3.5 must be used to next closest center, if cut from that team you can ask for an ATM and then go to any center who requires additional players and not centers who have made cuts.

I don't believe this board members interpretation but I can't find the rule anywhere.... Or any forms.... Where is the specific rule on this info.

In the OMHA, there is a form called Authorization To Move (ATM). This is a one year exemption that allows a player to play for any other OMHA team, including those closed centers that traditionally do not accept NRPs. There are certain criteria that need to be met, but it is nothing extraordinary. Your association would provide this form to you that will allow you to tryout for other centers. With many teams in the OMHA holding fall tryouts, there could be some good options to explore.

Not sure if the GTHL has something like this that allows Toronto residents to play in the OMHA.
Oh and OMHA are bigger turds. As corrupt as the next guy. OPEN ALL CENTRES! Cowards. Afraid to lose $$$. Open centres will show who is above board and who isnt. Let people spend their money where they want to! Commies

That’s not entirely accurate. The form is only available if the home centre is not able to ice a U18 Rep team, or if the player was registered for tryouts but is released from the home centre team
I'll be asking for a release and the form. Coach is a turd.

No form. You need to request this from your association like a release.
