At the u8 and U9 HL especially. The kids ice time gets bumped for AA tournaments all season. 2 yrs ago the U8 teams played 9 games in 22weeks. It is not a HL it should be rebranded as a local league as there are 6 associations that play against each other not in house.

The Gthl has taken over the A level from 2013’s on, and now teams don’t even play in their home rinks because some don’t conform to gthl standards, whatever that means!

So now they have concocted this Enhanced Red division which is basically select to try and keep registrations.

I'm curious to see fees as most don't publicize it and in my neck of the woods, I've heard $4000 for AA & BB and $10,000 for AAA.

$10,000 is more than half the GTHL teams pay.
And for the “privilege” of playing for Guelph, the worst team in the province in every age group!

Their fees are all over the place. They won’t give details and basically hire all their buddies to do nothing and call it “development”

Why would an organization not disclose a balance sheet or bank account information for years with how much cash they have on hand even with it's own board? Very little transparency, makes you wonder.
