MB and MNS could pull off a miracle once, but it won't happen twice.

VR shouldn't even be in this conversation.
It isn't a miracle. MB played stronger opponents before the holiday break and weaker opponents after that. It only takes a few minutes of looking at the schedule to see what happened. Their streak in January and February moved them way up in the standings. This is not meant to be a knock on them, they simply dealt with the schedule the GTHL provided. They are a good team but the coaches are probably over-ambitious in how competitive they are with the loop. They were recruiting for U11 much earlier than everyone else and really looking for strong kids. Compared to other tryouts, theirs had anywhere from 50-100% more kids on the ice. What does that tell you? They very badly want to beat the 3 teams above them after some bad luck in the playoffs. MNS is also not a miracle but an unfortunate example of another over-ambitious coach who would play 5 skaters all game if he could, the only thing stopping him is that they'd all be throwing up and passing out. Shortsighted parents as well, or they would insist on appropriate shift changes and times.
We’ve missed you. How’s your spring been going. Hahaha
ST ended the tourney this weekend 1-4 and their only win was against a slightly worse team than them?

The post that they've "put together a nice little team with hopes of climbing the ladder" next year is completely laughable

More shots at MNS too make it clear that it's a sour grapes parent who is delusional at best.
4 of the 5 games ST played were against AAA teams give it a rest. You know nothing. They will be in the top group by end of season.

VP couldn't make it out of the first round of the playoffs last year.
I don't care about VP but the playoff format is very unfair and stupid. You can't tell me that you think the best second round was FT, MNS, TE and VR.

This is clearly meant to provoke

so not worth engaging with.

But it is true that VR is very frustrating to watch

Again with the penalties, stupid ones every time

Why? Coaching?

ST has put together a nice little team. Maybe without superstars or kids who could play AAA next year. Beyond that who knows! But a team of contributors which is a good and positive message to be sending at this age and level of development. They could find themselves at mid-pack to start and then nicely work their way up. It is good to see. I watched a little bit of the WML game this morning and they appear to be similar in the same sense.
What team is ST?
Mags = ST
Ice ray = Attack
Krakken = VR
Jaq - WML

What team is North stars?
Theyre not in this tournament.
It looks like they are in next week with MT and HVS. We will see if they are good with changing out a third of their roster.
How good could they be when they couldn't even beat VR which looks to be as bad as ST and WML.

No, it's not the Rebels.

180 is an OMHA East group of mostly AAA players from 2 weak teams and a few AA players, formerly a Klevr team.
