Looks like Applewood and Meadowvale are fielding A teams in the MHL. Streetsville also has A listed, and Erindale just says U10 still. I guess MHL is doing A hockey again?

The teams in A don’t seem to have “home” rinks for games and practices anyway.

Or is that what is coming eventually?
Most G AA team are owned. So they would need to buy the A teams from the local hockey associations and offer continued annual dividends to the minor hockey teams to help fund HL.

Ice costs will be come a huge issue. Mississauga is not happy about associations mis-reporting number to resident participants. Expect for MHL teams to have to pay way more for A hockey moving forward.

Having kids that played in both, MHL should have taken over more of the G A level, not the NYHL taking over MHL.

Best news for tax payers is now many of the Mississauga rinks, the older ones can convert into full time indoor pickle ball courts. Much cheaper to operate than rinks.
