Look I get that many people were mostly oblivious to this guy being what he is. But there are families who have been named...they knew he was a racist, a bully, a conman, and garbage human. We never saw him act like a racist, a conman, or anything close to a morally bankrupt person. Whenever he was around us, he was upbeat, respectful, and our kid genuinely enjoyed playing on his teams. Saying we “enabled him” because we saw him twice a year is a stretch—and lumping everyone in together is a cheap shot.
If we had ever seen the kind of behavior he’s now been charged with, we would’ve walked away and reported him. What’s happening now is serious. This goes well beyond personal grudges—like the ones JH and GS have carried for years. And let’s be honest: both are known for being completely unhinged and habitual liars, so it’s hard to take anything they say at face value.
And while we’re calling things out—most of these so-called “program directors” (TBD, PH, PC, YK) have their own reputations. A bit greasy, a bit shady, and definitely in it for the money. You hear horror stories about all of them, yet people keep marching back year after year. When your kid wants to play spring hockey with their friends, you pick the least-bad option and try to avoid the drama.
No one is condoning the behavior he’s been charged with—he deserves everything that’s coming to him. But shut the f@&k up with this idea that anyone thinks what he did is okay.

You’re reacting as if everyone knew—how could anyone have possibly known? None of this came to light until just over a week ago. Before that, there were no charges, no public allegations, no indication of this kind of behavior. If anyone had seen even a fraction of what’s now being alleged, we wouldn’t have gone anywhere near him. What’s happening now is serious and needs to be dealt with accordingly—but don’t rewrite history or assume people knowingly put their kids in danger. That’s just not the truth.
