What a stupid comment.

Yes except so many AAA teams still have the coaches buddies kids and kids that have played AAA so they are labelled as a AAA player and automatically get a spot on a team  . I think the open borders will make some AA teams pretty good this season!

Ottawa Silver Seven will be the team to beat.
What's happened to make such a dramatic change? They had an awful SS last year and didn't even get to the finals of their own league.
They didn't get better. Lost their top F, D and G. Well coached team but should regress a bit this year.

Which is a shame. When the top AA teams play each other at an event like OHFs, even SS Finals, it's great hockey. Some of the bottom feeder "AAA" teams wouldn't even be competitive at those events. It just doesn't happen often enough, there are so many AA teams that are very weak.

Did some also go to Peterborough AAA?
Pete's AAA added 1 G and 1 F from QRD, COW added 2 D and 1 F, NSW added 3 F, Kingston added 4 F and 2 D, Pete's AA added 1 D, Bulls AA added 1 G and 1 D moved up to QRD U16. Then after having enough players at tryouts to field a team the U15 QRD folded. They had no problem beating NCP 21-0 last year and decide to fold this year because their team wouldn't be good enough?
Belleville remained the same then with a few adds?
I believe they swapped out 3-4 kids for the Kingston AAA cuts
Did Kingston improve? They had some consistently strong results versus Belleville and Clarington last year.
I'm sure Kingston received the other cuts from AAA with the QRD pushing them out, but they also lost Uppal to the AAA team. Hard to say if they improved or maybe stay the same?

As stated above - great topic. Not much talk about outside the G. This year, RH Jags will be worth watching. Multiple AAA kids came down and top AA kids move from their home centre. Will be very good!
