I’ve coached EM and coached against him. He’s the 2nd best in the age. DP first. I watched 3 ph games this weekend. They both play tons
They have 3 top D and all play very differnt. The top pair are 5 and 91 but along with EM those 3 are the best. I could be wrong.
Exactly. 3 Top D. But they had a forward playing D on the Power Plays. Its Brick. Wouldn't all there D be good enough to play the Power Play?
Em is good when playing against a bottom half team in the OMHA. Brick is big boy hockey, as is the GTHL, kid would get lost in the G and is getting lost at Brick. #7 on PHD is a steady decline too, you can see toughness starting to take over both mentally and physically and majority of these brick kids dont have it having never faced adversity
Lol. Keep telling yourself that. A nice attempt to justify paying double and sitting in gridlock traffic 5 days a week to play gthl. Over half the league was barely AA calibre. And your bottom 2 teams would be lucky to win in A. Unless your kid is getting top minutes on a top 4 team, hes not playing big boy hockey either.
Hallf the league ? well then what would you call the AA league calibre of hockey to be ? I still see a big difference between AA and AAA in all leagues. I do think the bottom teams would be mid to lower AA teams in the GTHL , but maybe this year it will change. The 2015 loop should shrink down to 6 true AAA teams in my opinion. Big waste of time playing teams that only scored 1 or 2 goals all season. Big boy hockey will come in a few years time. The great players will probable still be great in 2 or 3 years if they dont burn out from parents.
Take the top 20 2015 AA teams from gthl/omha/alliance this past season. They are all beating/tying TRW, TT, MM, Senators. Those were alot of extremely easy games for 2015 gthl brick players to racking up tons of points. Alot of those boys disappear when entire rosters have AAA players. Hopefully the competition improves for this season.
