Parents and kids crying about fair and equal ice time have to wake up and realize that they aren’t privileged and ice time is earned. No coach cares about what you did last season or even last game. You look like your scared on the ice, not working hard enough or being out skated well don’t be shocked when you don’t get lots of time. It’s common sense, your kid may be your superstar but coach plays player who can help the team win. No one cares about your opinion or feelings. If you can’t handle it, get another hobby.

Oh, I know! My son has been cut from a team before or the coach won’t play him and force us to leave the team. Doesn’t matter because they were only AA teams.
Maybe you should stick to local league so little Johnny won't have to sit............
My kid doesn’t sit often bud, coaches see me walk in 6’4, 250lbs, all muscle, Toronto cop, you know they don’t DARE sit my kid!
