It's not coaching. Coach is a good guy. All parents. Bunch of stone throwers and kids resemble their parents.

Relax bud, you had only a few loses last year. You can’t handle a little adversity… in the tourney you got 3 wins against 3 winless teams. A single A team could have done that.


It’s 2013 hockey, let’s settle down and stay realistic. There are bigger things in life that your kid will learn from. No one is going to be holding up the Stanley cup in the future so settle down

Who cares. All these teams have players that are not on their real roster
Impressive come from behind win today by the Rat Pack against a good AAA team.
There are no good AAA teams in this tournament

Panthers racked up 40+ penalty minutes in one game this morning. 2/3 of those penalties were head contact or cross checks which also resulted in games misconduct penalties. Is it the coaches or parents that teach these kids to be headhunters?

Who cares. These things are a waste of time and money designed solely for taking cash from parents of “elite” 8 and 9 year olds, you know gotta keep skating all year or going to fall behind. If you haven’t figure that out by now and believe it when your coach says we gotta play 2, maybe 3 spring tournaments to see what we got for next year, well….
This is U13 so join the U10 thread bud if you want to complain how spring hockey coaches are taking your $$$. Kids playing spring hockey is fun for them. They like the sport and have a chance to play with different kids. Yes some teams bring their winter roster but rarely it’s full teams aaa there is always a few kids that can’t make it. So enjoy spring summer hockey and relax, this should be fun.
Spring hockey is great. Bunch of games in 3 days. Kids compete hard and have a blast doing it. Some tournaments overpriced. Honestly Canaln tournaments are great bang for your buck
