Can’t agree more, this association is bringing in coaches from the surrounding areas trying to draw more kids in with open borders. There is 0 development here, so aside from cheap dues, don’t look to learn anything.
Honest question - what does development mean? or what are you looking for with development?
Rep teams generally have 2 practices a week. Do your coaches not work on getting your kids better? Is it only focused on team play?
I'm just a lowly HL/LL coach but the first 10-15 mins of practice we still work on the basics of skating, passing, shooting, etc.
Just curious as I see people complain about "no development" but I'm curious as to what you look for.
