Oakville is adding some teams to the MHL, this is in addition to the Toronto teams from last season who are back again. So I think this might be a thing for another year but not this one. Could make a good argument that MHL A might as well just merge with GTHL West.

You'd have approx. the same amount of teams between MHL/GTHL West as the GTHL East division has. I mean why not?

rumblings that some MHL teams will play vs GTHL teams as some age groups simply don't have enough teams in either league
