So why do all the top players flock to the top teams? What’s wrong with a stud playing for a 7th or 8th place team. Also, look at how many goalies in years past went on to do well who didn’t play for top teams. Top teams don’t face enough shots, don’t have to be tested defensively by 9 other teams in the G. This ends up hurting them in the end, unless they’re the clear number one on that team.

Every stud needs a supporting staff

Where are Bedard and Celebrini’s supporting staff?

They are in the NHL if you don’t think the guys around them are good you need your head checked. Plus you’re talking about generational players.

Ok, what did Cowan, Dickinson and Bonk’s supporting staff do for them in the world juniors?

So. Marlies Tournament semi finalist and finalist both lost last night at Chesswood. You would think they would have put up a better effort. Tournament hockey is so unpredictable...

I’ll believe it when I see it. Lindsey isn’t coaching that team for a penny less than 50K in his pocket. And that still might not even be enough.
