I thought that must be a typo but then checked all of Leaside’s scores and they have now beaten SIR, FH and VRE and tied NT and TA. But also lost to NYK and WHGH. Weird.

SIR has lost the edge it had by playing all summer. Lots of close scores recently. The standing are very jammed. Going to be a great second half.

Best part about this is TRT move into 7th. LF into 6th place. sorry to see the best team in Ontario (TRT) ranked so lowly. lol

GTHL scheduler planned it well. Only one game on tap tonight. And it’s a biggie. FH v VRE.
A FH win puts them all alone in 1st (SIR will still have 3 games in hand.)
A VRE win gets them within 3 points of 2nd (with 3 games in hand.)

SIR hasn't lost an edge, we are battling injuries and sickness - every team goes through it. And no - we didn't play all summer, we have 1 Canlan tourney in Sept before the early bird.

There are no easy games in the East loop aside from the bottom teams, any team can win on any given night. Leaside played really well last night, it wasn't their goalie, it was a team effort. Props to them for battling back and not quitting.
