Guest wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:39 am COW unfortunately will be plan B or C for most kids next year. Not necessarily because of their coaching but the fact they are playing in Lindsay/little Britain/Oakwood/Fenlon Falls ect.

I would imagine some of their better players are taking calls to join PP/WW/NS/APR

They certainly have been the biggest disappointment in the playoffs this year.
They’re losing a lot of players next season and don’t even know it.
Which COW players are going where?
JB - VK
MM -few rumours PP, WW
CG - APR / NS
CE - PP
CS - PP
AA - whitby wolves

CE, CG are not good enough to play anywhere else sorry.

MM is talking to everyone so who knows….

COW is in a tough place with all of their age groups.

Cow 2013 is toxic parents that think there players are better than they are. Not surprised they are jumping ship first chance they get.

The parents are actually great. And all sides agree that the same kids keep getting played and it’s not working

PP quietly adding players based on rumours here.... new bench boss + picking up kids who want to get out of current situations... are they upgrades? will PP be a sleeper next year?

Short answer is no.

Replacing bottom end with bottom end. Top end players looking for better opportunities.

The COW don't have any true AAA kids. They put all their best players on one line. Their best Defence man is average and will likely leave along with their #1 goalie.

They’re not any better or any worse than APR, NS, MW, NCP, PP. If your statement were true, more than half of the loop is not AAA caliber and that’s just not the case. All teams have a player or two that are on the lower end.

Not sure what you’re expecting at U12 hockey but this is about as good as it gets. Real hockey starts at U14. Until then you can keep complaining about who you think doesn’t belong on a team.

Keep telling yourself that.
