Confirmed 2 new goalies for next year!

1 from a top team
Every team is likely looking to upgrade the position.
Number of players leaving current team

QRD - 1 maybe 2
Kingston - 3
Whitby - 1 maybe 2
Barrie - 1 maybe 2
YSE - 1
NS - 2
PP - 1
COW - 3 maybe 4
APR - 2
MW - 0
NCP - 1
When you say “leaving” is that by choice?

I would say those number would be a lot higher as AA players will take spots on weaker teams ie. MW,NCP and APR,COW

Kingston players will Goto Quinte, Quinte players to NS …. COW to PP, I doubt any NCP players make Barrie, everyone hates Whitby so I doubt anyone is going there …. Gonna be interesting

Leaving for other opportunities
Kingston - #77 to QRD
QRD - #19 to PP
WW - #91 to G LOL
NS - #19 and #8 to WW
YSE - #7 gone

There will be a few more.

With 1 less team the format would change slightly one would imagine.

would be great if they went back to the 1v8 2v7 ect. format with the bottom 6 having a play in series ( home/home )

round 1
( first to 4 pts )
6v11
7v10
8v9

round 2
( first to 6pts )
1v8
2v7
3v6
4v5

winners advance to Omha

This will never happen because the bottom end teams would only get 2 playoff games and then their season would be over. unless you hold a weekend tournament for the remaining 7 teams once eliminated.

It was close however Qrd had more chances over 3 periods. Qrd is very disciplined. GK did good job in defensive zone and got pucks deep the whole game and exposed Qrd weakness which is our D. KG are basically 1 and a half lines of AAA caliber players so amazing they sit 2nd in league. Kingston had a ton of chances throughout the game but the Qrd forwards are very good supporting Dzone.
Have to laugh about above KG #77 going to Qrd. Kid was a no show lastnight. Qrd wants to get bigger, stronger, more teams/systems - not smaller, slower and no passing. Qrd looking at NSWC x2 players, 1 WW and COW 1-2 which includes a goalie there. Qrd will shed the small guys this year and we will get bigger in prep for U14.
