We have chatted with a few coaches who all say the same thing “let me know if you figure out your address”

What exactly does that entail. I know people fake or change addresses but how exactly do you get away with it as i was told they ask for school proof and a utility bill.

Obviously there are families that actually move schools and houses for their kid to play in the GTHL but i am looking for if it’s possible without any type of move. I heard it’s possible so appreciate the help
That is illegal and wrong. You would be willing to lie so your child can play in the GTHL.
There is a lot more illegal and wrong in this world right now then trying to get your kid into the GTHL... give your head a shake, and we aren't even in the GTHL nor do we want to be... if your kid is good they will find him or her.

This happened to my family and we did not get release. I did put my son in a private school in Mississauga and forge a utility bill to a family address. Yes, it worked for his entire time in the G. Expensive as private school can cost $25K/year but worth it to be in the G.

Don’t worry about rushing to the G. Let your kid develop in the OMHA. Once he’s a bit older and is good he will be recruited and you can decide then whether to play in the G or not. You will be better off with practices close by than to drive multiple times a week in Toronto traffic. Plus only a handful of teams in the G are competitive. There is no point even playing in any of the bottom half teams unless you and your kid don’t mind winning 2-3 games all year.
