Ya this drunken idiot has already made waves and the fact that every parent coach in the organisation is completely incompetent and has their shitty kid playing for their team doesn’t help

I assume the people working/coaching for the org are volunteers...volunteering their time so yes they bring their shitty kids with them as part of the deal. This happens everywhere. The only way to change this is to hire non parent coaches and PAY them money but that doesn't seem to be something the folks at the top want to do either.

Times have changed. People are busy with full time jobs, kids. If no one wants to make these paid jobs (and really who wants to coach youth hockey as a career on its own?) then this is what we get.

Except the Marlies parent coaches ARE PAID
Every one of our coaching staffs between U10 and U14 get anywhere between 30k and 40k a year to divide among the HC and assistants. The org did not win a championship in any age group last year and our U14 team was the last to win one that was 2 years ago.
The executive needs to make some sweeping changes as morale and the culture is at an unprecedented dented low.

Reputation at an all time low too

Our company is a Marlboros corporate sponsor and we’ve already made the decision that we won’t be sponsoring next year. Without going into detail we became aware of some reprehensible conduct taking place on the U12 and U14 teams and we cannot continue to endorse the organization in its current state.

07s won in U16 2 years ago. Might want to fact check this statement because I bet there are other teams that won as well.

Ok so just because they are paid 15k a year or something after it's divided they shouldnt be able to have their kids play there? Im wondering just how bad the kids are. I've heard people say oh that coaches kid is terrible, shouldnt be on the team. Or that coaches friends kid is terrible - he shouldnt be on the team but the reality is that the kid is not that bad.

I think hockey has become more watered down everywhere but it's not because of any coaches kids. I was just looking at the top teams in the US - and a few of them all have coaches kids on them and somehow they are making it work. The fact of the matter is that is a coach has a kid on the team they will be more invested.

At AAA, a coach with a kid on the team is only invested in making sure his kid stays on the team.

Let’s frame this up if you were corporate sponsored of the Tm , you definitely would not be on The site talking shit and personal business , business about your sponsorship, which is fairly easy to find out who you guys are you got to relax you’re all insane making up lies and stupid oness , because people who are corporate sponsors do not come on here and say shit like that you dumbass, Unless you are the corporate sponsor, therefore completely unprofessional and again, I’m pretty positive. The employees would not know about sponsorship but nice try

Nope, not always the case at all. I've seen many situations where the coaches kid is one of the top players on the team.
