OHL Overtime Thrillers and Shutout Domination: Is This the Most Exciting Season Yet?
The OHL is heating up, and last night's games were a perfect example. We saw an overtime nail-biter in Barrie, with Patterson playing hero for the Colts. Is anyone else noticing how many games are coming down to the wire this season? Are we in for a record number of OT finishes?
On the other end of the spectrum, London put on a clinic with a decisive shutout victory over Peterborough. Medvedev's performance was stellar, but was it more about London's offensive dominance or Peterborough's struggles? Is London a true contender this year? I'm predicting they go all the way.
And let's not forget the Icedogs, battling their way to a victory over Guelph. Roobroeck's two goals were key, but is he the real difference maker for Niagara, or are there other players flying under the radar?
What are your biggest takeaways from these games? Who are the teams and players surprising you the most? Let the discussions begin!
