I doubt they could be put on a team now. If you can find out where coaches are having skates for next year see if you can attend those.

I doubt they could be put on a team now. If you can find out where coaches are having skates for next year see if you can attend those.

I did that before this season started many times and went to many birthday skates and no AAA team. WHY? Why they don’t want him?

I get a player being cut for not preforming at a aaa level or a disruptive kid or parent.

But was if a junior player quits his team and becomes available. Can said coach just cut a player to pick up a junior player?

And if yes. Being Minor hockey is there compensation to the kid. Repayment of gear/hotels/league fees …?

I have never heard of this in all my years my kids playing AAA.

Anybody have this happen to their kid?

In the GTHL a team cannot release a player beyond Nov 15 without the family agreeing to a release.
If the family wants out or agrees to a release then the player can be released.

As for compensation, the family should be getting pro-rated fees from both the org and the team fees.
