What about "Tier 1.5" teams like NT Green and HV White? Are their top players finding their way onto AA teams in other organizations? And what about Tier 1 teams in the NYHL?

What about "Tier 1.5" teams like NT Green and HV White? Are their top players finding their way onto AA teams in other organizations? And what about Tier 1 teams in the NYHL?

NT Green will be the NT A team. Their top players on their own to random AA teams.

NT Green will be the NT A team. Their top players on their own to random AA teams.

tier 3 and lower continue to play select?

A lot of Tier 2/3/4 go to A and/or go to other A organizations. A good number get “caught up” being associated with the bigger leagues like North, Toronto, Leaside, Humber Valley, etc. and stay for Select, but could likely play A in a less “popular” organization. A lot of teams have trouble filling A.

It’s AAA/AA or BUST

The GTHL just announced team entries for the 2025-2026 season.

Any idea where the future 2016 U10 AA Aeros and Forest Hill teams will be pulling its players from? I assume the Tier 2 2016 CDS Forest Hill Gold team on its own wouldn't be able to compete in AA?
