Competitive maybe for a while. They already got rid of R.Hill. Oshawa and Claringtin to makeup North Shore. Central Ontario is expected to be gone as well. Is North Central Predators around?

Guessing this is why more and more players are going to the gthl and taking spots. Be interesting to see how many actual O kids are on G teams

Central Ontario is two more seasons. At the time COW leaves Kingston will be joining the HEO (Ottawa league).

I guess the question is that whether these kids have to go to the bottom G teams because they cannot make the OMHA cut cause competition just went up based on fewer spots.

Why is NCP still around? Shouldn’t they be gone as well?

Reducing the teams doesn't make it more competitive. The good players will always leave because of lack of development. Parents will get tired of driving their 8 year old over an hour to practice/play/develop 6 days a week until they are 16.

If the organizations invested the crazy amount of money they get into proper development programs they would be more successful and hired coaches that can teach they can get better.
Top G teams are driven to develop and win, OMHA teams protect their friends kid.
