Definitely avoiding them. But will not boo the US anthem if played at our tournaments. Not the kids fault.

Waste of time and money.
Silly rules. Inconveniencing families with border crossings. Horrible exchange rate.
Find yourself a nice Canadian tourney thats under 2 hours away.

Agreed with staying home and play in Canada but should be respectful of any USA team that comes to our tournaments.

The exchange rate alone is enough to avoid US tournaments.

We are pulling out of the US tournament next year. Had a great time in Lake Placid but will be local next year.

The best USA tournament I had heard of is in Buffalo at Riverside which is a covered outdoor rink. Would be pretty cool to play in it.
But yes, a lot of hassle going to the USA, and there are a ton of tournaments in Canada.

Few are boycotting over politics...it is the Cdn $ that keeps people from travelling to the US
PS when the $ was a lot better everyone enjoyed the weekend...shopping, cheap booze/beer, a few late nights, lots of laughs and different competition.....for all the boycotting people take a look where most of the stuff you buy, watch on TV and follow are from....either from the US or made by some 12 yr old in some Asia country...maybe ease off on the smugness gas pedal

I am definitely boycotting over the tariffs. Had a fantastic time playing down south last summer but no interest in spending one non-existent red penny in the USA now.

I am hoping Hockey Canada or the OHF bans the participation of teams going to the USA for tournaments until tariffs come off. One more way to make a statement.
