It was embarrassing enough that the NHL made him honorary captain of Team Canada (which he basically ignored and preferred to hang out with Team USA) in the Four Nations Cup; but if he gets to keep his Order of Canada medal it disparages the other truly great Canadians that have earned it and continue to embody the Canadian spirit to this day.

FYI - some of the past recipients of the Companion of the Order of Canada include:

Lincoln Alexander
Louise Arbour
Denys Arcand
Margaret Atwood
Lloyd Axworthy

And those are just some of the ones starting with "A"...

Anyone who can write this should be deported straight to the next WEF convention. You are the reason the Marxists were able to ruin Canada. You bring shame to our once great country. Gretzky should be #1 on the list and that's a fact. Canada is now a raging crap hole.
