So which teams are folding SIR, FH,.. ??

Guestgpr wrote: Fri Mar 10, 2023 2:13 pm New owners came in 2021. They apparently had to appeal to keep the 07 team. Cut 14 or 15 kids to rebuild then cut 12 more this year to make room for the GPR AA team. They used the parents to bridge the appeal. HC and Ass C of GPR AA are treasure and secretary of the Shams. Parent oN GPR AA is the ores of the Shams.
Just a lot of bullshit.
Why in the world would a dad buy a single A team so his kid (who is a decent AA player) can play single A hockey. Seems like an odd move and waste of money. Kid could make any A team he wanted without dad buying the team.
No one buys an A team for their kid to play on it. That's what AAA is for.

Sounds rotten
Is it possible that the organization was going belly up or the last owner was bailing? The new owner could have stepped up to save the season for the existing teams? Could be possible.
Does not have a kid even playing for a shammies team. His kid plays for GPR

Kid plays for GPR now. He’s already committed to the Toronto Shamrocks for next year… along with 7 other of our players.

As for bailing out. They bought a dying org.

I heard they’re being looked into because of the TSN story. Glad we’re staying put. A bunch of us laughing at the families leaving that may have no team to go to.
Shammies - think there are only 3 or 4 teams that exist. Absolutely a dying org. Why buy it. FT likely promised to rebuild it to its ‘former’ glory. Hopefully the G does what is right as the current owner and GM are not.

FT and EB and the ass coach NS (who’s the TS secretary) the three of them are a joke and a disgrace to hockey. EB and FT are in this for the profit. FT barely showed up to anything for GPR. EB saw this as a golden opp to fleece families of $.
I hope the G does the right thing and doesn’t allow him to have teams next year. I feel bad for the GPR AA kids he’s taking to the Shamrocks next year. Theyll finish their hockey going from provincial champs to playing on the one organization that’s been a scam since its inception. Way to keep the tradition alive EB/ FT/ NS.

Okay so this year's teams are all registered for next year but at least 3 or 4 won't be able to field teams. They will fold before the season starts

That does not mean you will have a team necessarily. If the organization does not field a team it get a fine, I believe $2,000 and no other repercussions.

Couldn't have said it better. Not only a scam but a sham. The G can nail these three yahoos with tampering. It takes one parent to make the complaint and they the G will investigate.

There are 30 (thirty) individual cases that the GTHL has opened to a 3rd party to investigate, so far. I have a feeling not all of them are issued toward the AAA organizations. If I were a Toronto Shamrock parent. Id be looking elsewhere to play for next year. If I were a GPR AA family being blinded by the BS the owners of the Shamrocks are offerings I’d give my head a shake. Even better. If I were a GPR parent thinking of going to the Shamrocks. That’s the last team I’d want to be associated with. From what I’ve been reading here and hearing people talk. They’re all dirty. Every coach at all, what, 4 of their teams.
