Expect the top teams will stay at the top. VP, VR, MB, they have an easier time recruiting because they've been good for so long, so even if they lose players they still have there pick of the best players to replace with.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 9:27 amI know my kid will be trying to get on the VP. Why would anyone want to leave the team?Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 9:24 am Congrats to that VP team on winning another championship. Haters and trolls aside, have to admit they have been the dominant team by far the last 2 seasons.
But now is when all the fun and games begin! Pre-tryout skates, tryouts, spring hockey. So what are people hearing for next year? Many changes happening? Any shift in the power rankings. Who's coming who's going who's loading up on talent who's rosters falling apart? What's the word going round?
Solid teams like TE, MNS, MR will be interesting. If they can keep the core group and manage to add a few upgraded players, they could easily jump into that top bracket. But they could also just as easily lose more players that they can't replace and fall to the bottom playoff seeds. How their coaches recruit is gonna be really important for them.
And then from the rest, it's always rebuilding every season. Teams like TR, ST, DD, HVS, they've always got some good pieces to be competitive but never enough depth. So they'll need to do more big changes if they want to really compete, but depending on what those coaches can do and who they can recruit any one of them could be a surprise to really improve.
